This restaurant is a must when you are in Horumersiel (with your dog). The hostess is super fond of animals, here the dog always gets a little treat and of course a bowl of water. But the human guests also get their money's worth. Every dish is freshly prepared and served with a lot of love, the cakes and pies are homemade, the portions huge. You don't have to do without the stylish Friesengeist saying about the Friesengeist. We loved the hospitality and the great food, so we enjoyed spending the last two evenings of our short trip there.

Cozy interior, super-friendly service. The menu is a bit clearer due to the corona, but there is something for everyone. The rice pudding is great! And the Altbierbowle with strawberries really rounded off my already nice visit there. Any time.

We loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. Our little dog (Maltese) was even given liver sausage. 👍😊 To top it off, I was able to drink my favorite beer (Guinness) there. All in all it was a very nice evening! Thanks a lot for this!

We were here in the portrait gallery on October 14th, 2020. Very, very tasty. Rice pudding for the children was delicious. Big portion. Cherry pie very tasty and pumpkin soup was delicious too. Mfg Johann. Recommendable.

We have been to this restaurant / café for the second time and have never been disappointed. Unfortunately, this year the outdoor area was well attended and therefore very tight. Despite the two (medium-sized) dogs, we were offered a table in the house without any problems. The waitress was attentive, asked if treats could be given and brought water for the dogs without being asked. Unfortunately we were out quite early and the apple pie was still in the oven. The rhubarb cake was delicious ... We will come back for sure.

Very nice service. You immediately feel welcome. The food is absolutely great. Seldom eaten such good boiled beef (dish of the day) and redfish fillet. The dishes, including the side dishes, are definitely freshly prepared. For us the best restaurant in Horumersiel and the surrounding area. We would love to come back!

We came across this beautiful restaurant by chance and will definitely be back. Even the "Corona Card" leaves nothing to be desired. Cooking is done with love and you can taste it too.

A really nice place to relax and enjoy. Very open, communicative staff. It is really good. Finally, not the memorized phrases of many service employees. The menu is small, but no dish is prepared with convenience products. The prices are perfectly reasonable. We will be back. Keep it up!

Very tasty homemade cake. The kitchen absolutely convinced us !! Top asparagus, great redfish, tasty potatoes and a homemade hollandaise sauce that you rarely get. The whole thing is complemented by attentive service. Our vacation couldn't end nicer. Thank you !!
